Katie Holmes's Trendy Anti-Skinny Jeans Are the Ideal Airport Jeans

We're used to seeing photos of Katie Holmes either walking the streets of NYC in stylish outfits, or on the red carpet. But this time, she was photographed at the airport, making a post-Christmas return to the city. And as is always the case with Holmes, she was dressed in a practical outfit that was as stylish as it was wearable.

As someone who prefers to wear jeans over leggings or sweatpants to the airport, I love seeing a celebrity travel outfit that includes jeans that are actually comfortable. The instances of celebs wearing stiff, high-waisted jeans to the airport are well-documented, but Holmes opted for a pair of loose wide-leg jeans in a light wash. Her jeans are by Wandler and they happen to have just been restocked.

Baggy jeans, another style in the loose-jean family, were obviously the reigning denim trend of 2022 (with low-rise being a close second), but wide-leg jeans like Holmes's are a classic style that has been a part of many excellent airport outfits over the years. You can now add Holmes's 2022 holiday travel outfit to that list.
