Call Me Biased, But These Are the Best Everyday Sandals
If you haven't yet, it's time to start seriously thinking about sandals. It may seem unthinkable (at least right now) that summer is literally on our doorstep, but before you know it, even pants will be too stuffy of a layer to wear outside. Some people collect sandals like underwear, while others have one go-to pair they tend to wear nonstop during the season. Despite your allegiance to either group, a wise investment this summer is easily a pair of brown sandals.
A less obvious choice than their black-colored counterparts, brown sandals offer the same amount of versatility, and according to me, maybe even more. With everyone gravitating toward lighter tones in the summer months, black sandals can look too harsh against a lighter palette, which is precisely why I'm stocking up on the warm neutral. I love the look of chic chocolate-colored leather with a crisp white linen dress or light-wash jeans in the summer. It's extremely effortless and timeless.
Below, I've assembled the pairs to buy in preparation for the season ahead, from fancy heels to cool wedge silhouettes and comfy everyday sandals. Keep scrolling to see them all.
This combination of metal with chocolate brown is so chic.
Fisherman sandals are such a blast from the past, and I'm loving it.
If you have a bigger budget, these should be your first pick.
I keep a pair of slide sandals in my car and near my apartment door because they're so easy to throw on.
