One of the beautiful things about concealer is its versatility. When you find a good formula, you can use it for everything under the sun—highlighting, contouring, diffusing the look of that pimple you woke up to, and camouflaging dark circles, which is our favorite perk.

Now, it's important to be aware that there are tons of culprits where dark circles are concerned, and rather annoyingly, not all of them are under our control. (For instance, allergies, bone structure, age, underlying skin conditions like hyperpigmentation, and genetics can all cause or worsen dark circles.) You can read our A-list esthetician's guide to treating dark circles, but for a quick fix, finding a concealer specifically geared toward dark circles is your best bet. And yes, some concealers are significantly more competent in the coverage, crease-proof, and all-day-longevity departments than others.

Since there are about one million concealers on the market all geared toward dark circles, we did the muscle work for you by whittling down the masses to our top 18 picks. Below, you'll find our most trusted formulas and important information like shade range, ingredients, finish, and the like. Keep scrolling!

What to Look for in a Concealer for Dark Circles

Dark circles are difficult to cover due to their deep blue-purple tones. That's why a color-correcting product can help. (This one is editor approved.) They counter the blue-purple tones, essentially canceling them out so your concealer doesn't have to work as hard. However, if you don't have a color corrector or want to keep things one step simpler, we got you.

Full-coverage concealers can be helpful. They contain the most pigment, which means they're able to cover dark circles more easily than lighter formulas. With that being said, you don't necessarily need a full-coverage concealer to do the trick. Sometimes, a light- to medium-coverage concealer can still cover dark circles if they have a light-reflecting quality. This minimizes the shadowed look of the under-eyes for a brighter, more wide-awake appearance. Basically, it all comes down to the texture and formula you prefer, and we have recommendations for both.
