We're big fans of clean beauty brand Megababe's hand sanitizer. It's formulated with plant-based alcohol to kill germs, marula oil, sweet almond oil, and aloe to keep your hands moisturized.
Vegamour's hypoallergenic hand sanitizer contains 75% isopropyl alcohol to kill germs, plus organic aloe vera and marula oil to lock in moisture on your hands. With every purchase, 20% of the proceeds will got to Project Angel Food, an organization that prepares and distributes food to people affected by life-threatening illnesses in Los Angeles.
Small enough to fit in your pocket, Touchland's Power Mist makes sure your hands are evenly sanitized. Ingredients include 67% ethyl alcohol, aloe vera, and essential oils. And the small container is good for 500-plus spritzes—you'll only need about two to three sprays each use.
Natural skincare brand Clark's Botanicals shifted 100% of its production to hand sanitizers. The formula will kill germs with 71% ethyl alcohol, but it's also clean and doesn't contain parabens, phthalates, and sulfates. The brand is also donating bottles to charitable causes.
Another brand that started producing hand sanitizers during this crisis, Peter Thomas Roth is also donating 5000 products to workers on the frontlines at Northwell Health hospitals in New York. The product contains 80% alcohol, comes in a spray bottle, and is available in two sizes, two-ounce and six-ounce.
