20 High-Street Fisherman Sandals That Come With an Editor's Approval

Hands down, fisherman sandals are set to be the must-have shoes of the summer. The so-called "ugly” multi-strap style, historically seen on, well, fishermen and probably dads on family holidays in the ’90s, has been slowly infiltrating the fashion world for the past couple of years. Unsurprisingly, their desirable status was set off by The Row’s iteration and went on to be pioneered by the most stylish influencers. This year, though, you can’t possibly avoid them—on Instagram or in the shops—since they’ve very much trickled (or should I say gushed?) down to the high street, with basically every retailer coming up with their own version for 2022.
Not that we’re complaining—we love it when a shoe trend we’re looking to try out is available at the more affordable end of the scale. And you can bet all of my fellowBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing UK editors will be investing in a pair to wear this summer (if they haven’t already). Whether you choose a classic flat version in rustic tan, reminiscent of Greek-island finds, or a chunkier black style to take the place of your winter boots and dress down all your prettiest pieces. These "trendy” sandals are actually incredibly versatile and will make all of your spring and summer outfits from last year feel fresh again. Personally, I’ll be wearing mine with jeans and wide-leg trousers starting now and switching for white linen dresses and denim shorts come summer.
A lot of the best styles have even sold out already, and it’s still snowing outside, so you can be sure with its popularity that this is a trend with legs to last beyond just the one season. Keep scrolling, and you’ll find 20 of the best pairs still in stock (just about) on the high street.

Somehow this chunky style manages to feel quite refined as well.
These are also very close to selling out. We're predicting restocks for summer, though.
