6 Instagram Accounts That Always Lead to New Fashion Buys
I’ve talked about this at length before, but Instagram is one of my biggest sources of style inspiration these days. Yes, I’m often posting outfit photos on my own Instagram, @kristenmarienichols, but what I love most is being able to see what women across the globe are wearing right now—with just a quick scroll through the app. My phone is cluttered with screenshots of the outfits I can’t stop thinking about, and very often, this results in new fashion buys for my own closet.
So, what are the Instagram accounts I look to most often to fuel new fashion purchases? Ahead, I’m breaking down the women whose fashion choices excite me and most closely mirror my personal style. From models to influencers, these are the photos I’m bookmarking most often. Go on to see the best fashion Instagram accounts to follow right now and shop the items sitting in my shopping cart at the moment.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has the perfect blend of classic-meets-glam style, which I personally identify with. I'm very here for her #ootd posts and always want to buy what she's wearing.
Yes, her coat game is strong.
I discovered Fiona Zanetti's Instagram last summer and love her sense of style. Like me, she tends to stick to a neutral palette of black, white, and navy—but makes it look cool and polished instead of boring.
She's also convincing me to order this jacket from Jacquemus.
I love French-girl style, and right now I'm all about the pieces Tina Kunakey is wearing—like this amazing Saks Potts coat.
To me, Emili Sindlev embodies everything that's cool about fashion on Instagram. She has her finger on the pulse and always wears about-to-break brands. But perhaps my favorite thing about her style is her fearlessness when it comes to wearing bold colors.
Proof that sneakers are the perfect shoe to wear with dresses.
Sylvie Mus is one of my recent follows on Instagram, but I keep returning to her posts for her classic style, which is built around tailored wardrobe basics.
This outfit is pushing me to order a pair of loose-fitting jeans.
On top of being a social editor for Bergdorf's, my friend Taylor Hicks shares a similar aesthetic with me, one that's heavy on iconic, Old Hollywood style. She also has an impeccable eye, and I immediately want to add the pieces she posts to my closet—like these Balenciaga heels.
And also, these great leather boots from Zara.
