I Could Teach a Class on Buying Jackets—These Are Hands-Down the Best Out There Right Now
Since moving to the East Coast from sunny California roughly 10 years ago, many aspects of my lifestyle have changed—and my closet has followed suit. Aside from investing in sensible footwear for everyday, cold-weather accessories for winter, and large but lightweight totes for schlepping, I've become somewhat of an outerwear connoisseur. Whether the temperature is 74° or 47°, I've got the jacket for it. Dark, light, linen, shearling, classic, trendy—you name it, I've collected it.
I especially love shopping for fall jackets, in particular, because you can go a little heavier than spring and summer, but don't have to go full puffer mode like you do in winter. It's a nice in-between space that lends itself to some seriously stunning toppers. Think satin, wool, cashmere, and more. With that, I'm showing you all the pieces in my wish lists, cart—and in some cases my closet—for this season. It wasn't easy narrowing it down even to 36, but I made the hard cuts so that you could have the best edit possible. To see what made my list, keep scrolling.
I had a hard time deciding between this one and this other Blazé Milano style.
This with the matching skirt is very Hailey Bieber vibes.
