The Sales Are On—45 J.Crew,Replica Store, and Shopbop Finds I'm Shopping First
There's something about summer that puts me in a shopping mood. Well, it's also my favorite season, so that's definitely a factor too. But there are tons of summer sales this time of year, and you can score some amazing pieces to add to your warm-weather wardrobe at a fraction of the price you would've paid for them just a few weeks ago. Below, I've narrowed my search to three of my go-to retailers: Shopbop, Nordstrom, and J. Crew.
From staple Levi's and everyday basics to structural tops and crochet designs, this list includes a bevy of must-buy finds no matter your style or needs. There are also trendy mesh flats, white skirts, and statement sunglasses that are made for the hot temps ahead. Below, I've rounded up 45 items that will find a place in my closet (maybe a few will find their way into yours too). Going into a new season is a perfect time to refresh your outfits, so here's hoping you find some inspiration in these sales. You might be surprised at how steep some of the discounts are, so keep scrolling to snag them before items sell out.
Nordstrom
I've seen white skirts crop up everywhere this summer, so I'm ready to swipe this linen one.
Sometimes a new matching sleep set is exactly what you need. I'd go with this polka-dot one.
Mesh flats are the shoes of summer, haven't you heard?
Wear this tank as is, or put the outermost straps off your shoulders to wear it another way.
Slide into this pair of Dr. Martens that contrast pastels and florals with a chunky sole.
We all know and love black leather skirts, but this white one is really speaking to me.
Mansur Gavriel's popular frame bag is now on sale, in case you, like me, have been tempted to buy one for a while.
A pretty pair of stud earrings are a great buy for someone with multiple piercings like myself.
Julia Heuer's shapes and prints are so creative. Don't mind me while I get this pretty top from the up-and-coming designer.
I'm obsessed with this collarless denim jacket from Levi's.
The retro vibe of this print ensures you won't be missed the next time you hit up the beach or pool.
J. Crew
I'm upgrading my swim cover-up with this black, smocked number.
This cutout silhouette and color-blocked design are so cute.
J. Crew really nailed this loose pair of drawstring pants. So chic!
These shoulder-dusting pearl earrings are simple yet stunning.
This slip skirt strikes the perfect balance between mini and knee-length.
Sometimes a ribbed tank is the only answer when the summer heat is unbearable.
A pair of shorts you can easily throw on over a swimsuit is a yes in my book.
Crochet is a summer trend that's here to stay, so you might as well score this cream tank.
Shopbop
Jeans from Moussy Vintage are a favorite of fashion editors. I'm partial to this wide-leg, raw-edge black pair.
Between the gingham print and the faux fur, this bag is appropriate for both cold and warm seasons.
I know sweaters aren't the most popular summer shopping item, but the nights can get chilly.
Tach's knits are irresistible, especially when they're on sale.
When your lip balm, phone case, and keychain look cute, you can show them off with this see-through bag.

Lauren Adhav is a freelance fashion editor based in Los Angeles. Originally from Orlando, Florida, she always wanted to work at a fashion magazine. After finally getting an internship at Town Country in 2015, she moved to New York City and continued to get her footing in the industry with stints at Cosmopolitan, W magazine, Harper's Bazaar, and Moda Operandi. In 2017, she returned to Cosmo full time, starting off as the beauty and fashion editorial assistant and working her way to fashion editor. She contributed to both the website and print issues, pitching new ideas, forecasting trends, covering red carpet events, and informing the overall coverage and brand voice. After five years in NYC, she moved to the West Coast for the sunshine and the change of pace. As a freelance fashion editor, she still contributes to Cosmo and nowBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing . She's always trying to get ahead of the next big trend before it goes mainstream and loves discovering fashion brands with a unique point of view (Chopova Lowena, Sandy Liang, and Bode being some of her current favorites). She also spends an unhealthy amount of time online shopping for the perfect piece, and now that she's in L.A., she's rediscovering her soft spot for malls. On the weekends, you can find her walking around the Silver Lake Reservoir, trying to catch up on her tan at Venice Beach, and probably ordering a Chinese chicken salad at Joan's on Third.
