Scent Type: Aromatic woods
Notes: Tonka bean, ginger, orange flower, patchouli, vetiver
Customer Review: "Sweet and powdery with a touch of earth. I'm not generally a lover of sweet fragrances but this has a unique spin. The tonka [is] balanced by orange flower and pachouli. It is like munching on your favorite sugar cookie on a swing in your old backyard that bleeds into the thick woody forest you used to play in as a child."
Scent Type: Floral woods
Notes: Jasmine, orange blossom, musk, cashmeran, amber, patchouli
Customer Review: "For all those perfume collectors and musk lovers, this one should be a staple. Pure Musc by Narcisso Rodriguez is like the white t-shirt in a wardrobe. Basic, but always a clean style, and it looks good on its own, and/or mixed with others. Casual, but solid. This is a simple clean fragrance with some nice florals mixed in. Well balanced. Some get a slight rubbery scent. And it is just that, "just the slightest". Very faint. Not a problem at all imo. Simple, yet solid."
Scent Type: Fruity floral
Notes: King William pear, freesia, patchouli
Customer Review: "This scent is hypnotic, with all the flirty youthfulness of a clean, fresh scent but a palpable sophistication that makes it versatile and suited to a variety of ages and styles. Reminiscent of golden hour in early September. Freshly washed hair and a floaty white summer dress on its last wear of the year. A wicker basket brimming with ripe, honeyed pears. Dewy grass underfoot, a bouquet of fresh roses from your lover. The scent of the lake drifts on the breeze. The perfect date to finish the last of the summer wine."
Scent Type: Floral woods
Notes: Pink pepper, bergamot, polygonum, tuberose, osmanthus, jasmine, patchouli, oud, sandalwood
Customer Review: "Chloe Fleurs Tubereuse Lazuli Eau De Parfum is a captivating fragrance that transports you to a luxurious green garden everytime you smell it! The tuberose takes center stage, blooming beautifully with a creamy, rich and slightly exotic scent that's balanced perfectly by the subtle sweetness of the other floral notes. The addition of Lazuli, a vibrant blue gemstone, is brilliantly captured in this scent's airy sparkling quality."
Scent Type: Warm spices
Notes: Iso E Super, patchouli
Customer Review: "There is something truly magical about this creation. Possibly, in a world where many perfumers—and consumers—liken quality with note-quantity complexity and interplay, Molecule 01 + Patchouli stands out due to its radical simplicity. That simplicity (two mere patchoulis, one stripped, and a synthetic) however, creates an almost indescribable complexity of its own. Where it lacks in dimensionality, it makes up in its command—a command of balanced contradictions. Warm yet fresh, woody yet clean, synthetic yet natural, spicy yet sweet, sobering yet so immensely intoxicating."
Scent Type: Spicy woods
Notes: Amaretto, nutmeg, suede, orris, benzoin, golden patchouli, labdanum
Customer Review: "The first impression I had of this scent was 'suede cigarette'. The first moment where a cigarette is lit and the sweet tobacco makes a brief appearance. This is a really beautiful amber-y scent, and if I hadn’t just purchased a full bottle of Bo (my absolute favorite of the line), this would have been a contender."
Scent Type: Spicy woods
Notes: Italian bergamot, lemon cedrat, pink pepper, upcycled rose, Moroccan neroli, orris, patchouli, Turkish rose, vetiver, amber
Customer Review: "Boozy Patchouli is not the 'hippie' Patchouli that most instantly think of. This is a beautiful blend of woody, somewhat spicy with a hint of rose... and definitely a faint hint of a rich bourbon. Boozy Patchouli works well with my body chemistry and is the perfect addition to my fragrance repertoire. So glad I was able to try this scent to see if it matched my wants and needs of a perfume. The scent leaves a mysterious trail and lasts for a few hours, the dry down is when the rose shines. If you're looking for a fall fragrance that is not for the faint of heart, is refined, elegant and has 'strength' then this is for you."
Scent Type: Chypre woods
Notes: lavender, rose, geranium, fir balsam, patchouli, vanilla
Customer Review: "I get a bright burst of lavender with the opening, almost citrusy, before it becomes more floral. The balsam and patchouli are very subtle, and the vanilla quite prominent throughout. This is not a dark, woodsy scent to me; it's rather light and sweet, but not sugary. It makes me think more of dusk than the dark of night."
Scent Type: Aromatic woods
Notes: Coriander seed, guaiacwood, patchouli
Customer Review: "I’ve had this for two years now and it’s such an easy wear, typically with Jo Malone most of their fragrances are very subtle and light which this is but it does last and you will get a fair few scent trails throughout the day. Brilliant office fragrance and an easy blind buy if you don’t mind spending the money."
Scent Type: Aromatic woods
Notes: Cedarwood, moss, patchouli
Customer Review: "Just got my decant today and oh mamma! Opening is sharp on the fir and patchouli and very spicy. The dry down is heavenly. a walk in the forest after a storm. sappy cedar, fresh oak and wet moss. I will wear this but it’s definitely unisex leaning more masculine. It’s delicious, an experience on its own. Will be on a lookout for a full bottle."
Scent Type: Aromatic woods
Notes: Cardamom, cinnamon, carrot, ginger, orris butter, papyrus, patchouli
Customer Review: "Byredo's Eyes Closed is a beautifully fresh fragrance that feels luxurious and inner calm. It opens with a soft floral blend, followed by subtle warm spice and earthy undertones. The scent evolves gently, creating a sense of intimacy as it lingers on the skin throughout the day. It's a fragrance that evokes emotion, offering a unique experience that goes beyond just a scent. Elegant yet easy to wear, Eyes Closed is perfect for anyone looking for something distinctive and memorable. It is truly a standout creation from Byredo."
Scent Type: Aromatic woods
Notes: Patchouli, maté, clary sage, violet
Customer Review: "A forever love. No matter how many new fragrances I explore, how many different genres I rabbit-hole down, I always seem to return to Tempo. It's chic and sophisticated without being stuffy, pretentious, or try-hard, endlessly wearable with just the right amount of earthy edge to keep it interesting. It's tenacious and definitely has staying power, but still feels airy and unoppressive. This is an easy-reach for me when I want something that feels comfortable yet has depth and personality. Tempo is spicy, earthy, bright aromatic. Totally unisex, all-season."
Scent Type: Aromatic green
Notes: Hedera ivy, galbanum, bergamot, green sap, patchouli, narcissus, rose, sandalwood, cedar, amber, musk
Customer Review: "For me, this is the most beautiful scent of Autumn: deliciously clean, thoughtful, comforting, fresh and warm at the same time, with the sun illuminating the leaf-strewn paths of the park and a slightly anxious anticipation of the approaching winter. The aroma of light sadness and the beauty of nature changing its appearance—very unusual and unique."
Scent Type: Spicy woods
Notes: Cinnamon, vetiver, patchouli
Customer Review: "This fragrance is absolutely stunning! It's warm and spicy with a hint of sweetness, perfect for a cool evening. The cinnamon note is prominent at first but settles beautifully into the woody vetiver and patchouli base. It's long-lasting and I get compliments every time I wear it."
Scent Type: Fruity floral
Notes: Blood orange, bergamot, mandarin, peach, cassis, dewberry, rose, neroli, geranium, cardamom, pink pepper, black pepper, vanilla pod, cocoa, frankincense, amber, musk, woods, patchouli, sandalwood, maltol
Customer Review: "A classic composition with a citrusy opening. Then warmer, more enveloping notes come to the forefront, although the citrus spiciness still accompanies them. Together they form a harmonious duo—feminine, classic, elegant, yet quite straightforward, with nothing particularly captivating to linger on for longer."
Scent Type: Aromatic floral
Notes: Lemon, centifolia rose, patchouli
Customer Review: "This is what an apothecary smells like in my mind. I wouldn't say that there is an obvious rose scent in the opening, but definitely floral. The citrus and patchouli are wonderful additions to the rose, and make the fragrance more complex overall. Less pink and more green. Sweet herbal is how I would describe Rose Roche."
