As a shopping editor, my job consists of trying and buying clothing I look at for hours every day—some of which may not fit me the way I want it to. While the online retailer's focus is straight sizes, mid-size and plus-size fashion people won't walk away empty-handed. While the number of garments available at other retailers can vastly outweigh what's available at Shopbop, the trend-focused online platform's offerings veer more on the high-end side, providing a unique price point and perspective on plus-size fashion. Although I'm sure more and more designers will add larger sizes to Shopbop in time (fingers crossed!), the current roster with pieces up to 4XL isn't anything to scoff at.
