Every Spring Trend Is Hiding on Amazon for Less Than $100
Oh, Amazon—or as I lovingly refer to it: the 'zon. While once upon a time you may have been our destination merely for household products and various odds and ends, there's no question that today you're a full-blown shopping destination for fashion girls. We turn to your wardrobe basics section to stock up on our seasonal staples like turtlenecks and tees and rarely board a plane without having ordered these pre-flight essentials on Prime.
That said, the e-tailer has built up enough of a fashion section that we can now present you with our version of a spring trend report, only everything is from the 'zon and we made sure it's all priced under $100. First up, the chunky tourist sandals trend that we saw in many iterations all over the spring '19 runways. On Amazon, you'll find the original sport sandals—Teva sandals—which the retailer's been selling for years now. And then there are styles like tie-dye T-shirts from Collina Strada and padded headband from Prada—versions of which all exist on the 'zon.
Keep reading to see and shop the best spring clothing on Amazon, according to the biggest trends in the game.
The Trend: Tourist Sandals
First up, the chunky tourist sandals trend that we saw in many iterations all over the spring '19 runways. Though some designer sandals feature dangling crystals or multicolor satin, you can easily get the same look via a pair of classic Teva's.
The Trend: Neon
Blindingly bright highlighter hues traversed the spring runways from Prabal Gurung's fanciful knits to Tibi's tonal ensembles. For those of you who are still warming up to the shocking color trend, may we suggest a few simple starting points, like a fuschia turtleneck or a lime green scrunchie?
The Trend: Tie-Dye
This spring, you can throw your typical florals out the window because there's a new wave of prints in town and they all point back to what we're calling the California cool look, starting with tie-dye. Trust us, you won't be able to escape the print this season, so try leaning into it via tees and crewneck sweatshirts that add a dose of the laid-back vibe to any 'fit.
The Trend: Utility
Utility-inspired silhouettes are everywhere we look right now, with cargo pants leading the charge. We've said it once and we'll say it again: These will be the pants that put an end to leggings in 2019.
The Trend: Padded Headbands
It's only January, yet hair accessories of all kinds are already infiltrating the heads of influencers, It girls, and the runway this year. The number one look? Headbands. Thanks mostly to Prada's padded headbands, we've never wanted to revisit our grade-school accessory drawer more than we do now.
The Trend: Cycling Shorts
No matter your stance on them, there's simply no avoiding bike shorts any longer, at least if Chanel and Fendi have anything to do with it (which they do). Above all, simply black cotton shorts have stood out as the style to try. Take a cue from the above runway look and style yours underneath a boxy blazer with some statement earrings and strappy sandals.
The Trend: Hair Clips
Hair clips—you really can't avoid them any longer. So why not test them out with a potentially high-reward, low-risk accessory like one of the below barrettes? Pin one in your hair, sit back and wait for the compliments to roll in.
