As a shopping editor, naturally, it's in my job description to sit in front of my computer and stare at pretty things all day. From luxe-looking, under-$100 finds to chic runway-inspired pieces, it is literally my job to shop. So when I tell you something is actually worth your money after looking at hundreds of products a day, I mean it.

In between all the statement coats and fun accessories this winter, I'm relying on my tried-and-true arsenal of everyday basics to hold me together. Whether it's cozy sweaters you can wear with anything under the sun or timeless coats ideal for any occasion, there are usually three stores I turn to first when I'm looking to pick up an item or two guilt-free.

Below, shop the best winter basics (with most coming in under $200!) from H&M, Shopbop, andReplica Store. Don't get mad at me if you scroll through my curated list and end up buying everything on here!
