As a fashion editor, I'm always giving out shopping advice and taking recommendations from myBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing colleagues. And while it's my job to share what's the best on the market, I also find myself influenced by certain tastemakers online. I may not give much attention to the TikTok creators with a million followers or more, but I follow a specific grouping of people many others trust for advice on what to add to their cart.
They don't cater to one preferred aesthetic as many other influencers do. Instead they make their content more attainable and enjoyable to follow. They also share their shopping recommendations, often at various price points, and talk through their outfits so you can take style cues too. Lastly, many of them have jobs in fashion and can offer a fresh perspective compared to what you'd find from most influencers or editors online.
