Janelle Monáe Brought Christina Aguilera esque Chaps to the Red Carpet
Why wear a boring red carpet dress when you can wear a badass pantsuit-chaps hybrid? Janelle Monáe walked the red carpet at the Billboard Women in Music Awards on Thursday night wearing a Gareth Pugh look that reminded us of Christina Aguilera's famous chaps moment in her 2002 Dirrty music video (although Monáe's is considerably less revealing). Who doesn't love a fun business-on-top, party-on-the-bottom look?
Elsewhere on the red carpet, Ariana Grande wore her signature over-the-knee boots with a bubble-hem dress, while both Ashley Graham and Dua Lipa made crop tops look impossibly chic. Graham teamed hers with sophisticated black trousers, while Lipa wore coordinating khaki pants. Alicia Keys went for a striking red pantsuit that might just be the perfect holiday party look.
