They might look totally impractical, but we're slowly coming round to them. I have a pair of thigh-highs that I wear every winter under long dresses and they never fail to keep me toasty warm. Bottega's offering comes sans heel, so you know that they'll be super comfy, plus thanks to the slim fit of the leg, you'll almost certainly be able to fit them under a pair of straight leg jeans (although maybe wait for a very chilly day for that combo).
