I Binged Bridgerton Season 2 Immediately—Here's My "Princesscore" Shopping List
Bridgerton season 2 may have just come out yesterday, but I already binged half of the series before I even figured out what I'm having for breakfast today. Some may call that a problem, but I'll call that an indicator of my personality. My bridal shower last year was indeed Bridgerton themed, so it's safe to say whatever the Netflix team wanted to accomplish with the series, they did it tenfolds. When the first season came out at the end of 2020, the romance, rivals, and of course, the fashion set the entire world into immediate binge mode. It also made way for an entire regency-inspired aesthetic to rise to popularity amongst the fashion set.
With the release of season 2 and summer wedding season around the corner, I've seen a wave of fashion items that fall into the royal aesthetic come into the market. Think square necks, puffy sleeves, intricate florals, and romantic silhouettes. While I wish ballgowns were a part of our everyday wardrobe, I featured a variety of modern iterations of the Bridgerton look so you can channel the aesthetic into your wardrobe easily this season. Think about what Daphne and Kate would wear if the show was set in 2022. Also, If you're attending any weddings or getting married yourself this summer, you'll find a jackpot of celebration-ready accessories, shoes, and dresses. Basically, the shopping list below is not one to miss. Lady Whistledown told me so.
A Bridgerton fashion collaboration was indeed on my 2022 bingo card.
I wore an iteration of this dress for my Bridgerton bridal shower and it quickly became my favorite dress of all time.
The puff sleeves, the florals, and the square neckline. What more could you want in a top?
If jean shorts existed in the Bridgerton world, this is how I'd imagine them.
In case you haven't noticed, there are quite a number of pretty white tops in this shopping list.
I got to see this brand's pieces in person, and they're even more divine up-close.
In the regency era, handbags obviously aren't really a thing, but if the show was set in 2022, this Staud bag would no doubt be their accessory of choice.
The collaboration that fashion dreams are made of.
For Love Lemons dresses are quick to sell out, so act fast.
If you're looking for a pair of wedding heels, I've found the shoe for you. Even if you're not getting married, be extra and buy these for yourself. Who needs a special occasion?
Another great frilly lace top to finish up this story on a good note.
I know the girls of Bridgerton are all about dramatic updos, but I know they wouldn't be able to resist this stunning clip if they saw it.
