Celebs Are Giving This Controversial Spring Denim Trend a Big Hell Yes
This spring, a handful of controversial jean trends are bubbling up. Have you noticed? First, it was looser-fitting baggy jeans that began to flood our Instagram feeds. More recently, we saw low-rise jeans on the queen of tricky trends herself, Bella Hadid, a surefire sign they're making a comeback. Now, we have another style to add to the list of controversial denim trends for spring: cargo-style jeans. We just spotted celebs like Yara Shahidi, Emily Ratajkowski, and Kendall Jenner wearing them, if that's any indication that these are on the rise (which it is).
On the whole, cargo pants tend to be a pot-stirring trend, with people jumping on board with the workwear look and others opposing them at all costs. We can already tell that these cargo-style jeans are about to incite passionate reactions from pretty much everyone. Opinions aside, though, you can't deny that the celebs we've seen testing out the jeans are absolutely nailing the look. Shahidi went the double-denim route and finished off the jeans with classic nude pumps while Jenner and Ratajkowski styled theirs down with "dad" sneakers and cozy outerwear.
Whatever your thoughts are on the cargo-style jeans, scroll down to see the celebrity outfits that are giving the trend a big hell yes. Then, if you're so inspired, shop the pairs we'd totally wear.
