In the world of women's shoes, I long held an underlying frustration with the lack of clean-lined, classic styles on offer. Men's shoes always seemed to have this polished timelessness that I so craved from my shoe purchases. Why was it so hard to find a well-designed lace-up without all the bells and whistles?
