8 Classic and Timeless Summer Styles to Shop for Now
For those of you who have classic and timeless style yet struggle with dressing for summer, you are about to be thrilled. I know how you feel. Summer is the time of year certain brands lean into trendy colors and patterns, and it seems like finding anti-trend, elevated picks to wear during the warmer months can be difficult. After the summer of quiet luxury last year, there have never been more examples and easy outfit formulas to copy when dressing for summer while keeping a classy, polished vibe.
While scrolling through my Instagram feed, saving simple but elevated outfit combinations to copy, I noticed eight hero items that kept coming up over and over. Rather than keep these items to myself, I wanted to share them with you, as they will be the backbone of my summer wardrobe and can be yours, too.
You can thank me later. Keep scrolling to see which eight summer items I'm eyeing for an elevated look.
Relaxed Button-Down Shirt
The seasonless staple especially comes in handy in the warmer months. Tuck yours into jeans or jean shorts or wear as a swim cover-up.
White Jeans
Make the switch from darker washes as soon as summer hits.
Breezy Midi Dress
The one-piece outfit simply never fails.
Simple Bodysuit
Tanks are great and all, but I love how bodysuits ensure the perfect clean tuck.
Linen Pants
When you want to be relaxed but still polished, go for a pair of linen pants.
Black One-Piece
The swimsuit choice that screams classic and chic.
Oval Sunglasses
Simple, chic, and go with everything? It's a yes from me.
Striped Sweater
Throw this over a dress or tank-top-and-shorts combo to elevate any low-key summer look.
