The Most Comfortable Bras, According to Reviews and Recommendations
While comfort has always been a key requirement when shopping for bras, it seems that, now more than ever, it's at the forefront of our minds when buying anything. Whether it's loungewear, shoes, or even trend pieces, for the majority of us who are spending more time at home post-pandemic, there seems to be no logical reason to wear anything that doesn't feel as good as it looks. A lot of women are taking advantage of this chance to go predominately braless, but I know there must be others out there who, like me, are actually in the market for a few comfortable options.
With that in mind, I reached out to friends and colleagues to see what styles they recommend for that barely-there feeling, then spent quite a bit of time stalking sites such as Nordstrom, Amazon, and Shopbop for the bras that have the best reviews with comfort specifically mentioned throughout. The result? Thirty can't-go-wrong options for every shape, preference, and budget. To see them all for yourself and shop along the way, just keep scrolling.
After my sister raved about these affordable bralettes, I ordered them for myself, and I'm so glad I did. I've been wearing them around the house almost exclusively for weeks.
Amazon reviewer Izzy says, "Really like this bra. It is one of the first that I've had that is truly comfortable. It also has a nice natural shape while still providing plenty of support. I bought it to wear under sheer white T-shirts and you can't see it at all. I might buy it in black as well."
"I'm quitting my uncomfortable bras this year (or maybe just stuffing them to the back of my drawer and pulling them out only when truly necessary),"Best Knockoff Luxury Clothing Editor in Chief Kat Collings says. "I purchased this Boody Body bra three times already because there's nothing like it in terms of comfort. This is the only bra that I don't want to take off when I get home at the end of the day. I find most sports bras—which should be comfy—too restricting and tight, and even though this one has a sports bra like cut, it somehow truly feels like nothing when you put it on. I consider this bra a necessity on any long-haul flights and panic if I don't have a clean one at the ready. I also love that the brand produces multiple shades of nude and is produced in an eco-friendly and ethical manner."
"I'd been wearing the popular Natori Feathers Bra for years but always wished it was a little more seamless under T-shirts. I discovered the brand's Flora Underwire Bra a few months ago, and I find it to be just as comfortable and supportive, but with a smoother look. And aside from being functional, it's really pretty," saysBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing senior editor Allyson Payer.
A reviewer left this commentary: "I had been searching for the perfect 'sexy' bra forever, and either the cup cuts in weird at the top and makes my bust look weird under shirts, or it's too full coverage and doesn't prop up my B-cup, but this bra is perfect. Still looks even under shirts and gives natural looking cleavage. Perfect buy for smaller boobs."
