The 5 Trends Influencers Championed at Copenhagen Fashion Week
The catwalks at Copenhagen Fashion Week served up plenty of style inspiration for next spring. But what really got our pulses racing was the street style looks we can copy right now, from the likes of Pandora Sykes, Pernille Teisbaek and Veronika Heilbrunner. The show-going fashion was a melting pot of über feminine, classic sportswear and cool minimalism—meaning there were looks to inspire every style tribe.
Danish girls are known for their practical style, so dad trainers and heeled ankle boots were trending, while Ganni proved the most coveted label of the week, and a single dress silhouette reigned supreme. Plus if you're looking for a bold hue to invest in, this year's most popular colour, Millennial Pink, shows no signs of wavering in popularity, judging by our favourite Scandi style stars.

Millennial pink
Style notes: Millennial Pink has shaped up to be the colour of the year, so it's no surprise that it reigned supreme at Copenhagen Fashion Week. Influencers like Pandora Sykes and Veronika Heilbrunner served their's via laid-back tailoring, opting for co-ords or an artfully undone boyfriend shirts.
Dad Trainers
Style notes: Seeing as your average Scandi girl is more likely to arrive at a show by bike than by chauffeured taxi, she's a definite authority on comfy footwear that's also chic enough to wear with with your fashion week finest. Pernille Teisbaek flew the flag for New Balance, while Fila and classic Adidas Stan Smiths were also popular—try the velcro version for added ease.
Hoodies
Style notes: As per the autumn shows, the humble hoodie is a must-have. Copenhagen's show-goers proved it's probably the most affordable and versatile item you'll buy, wearing theirs with everything from wide-leg jeans to co-ordinating skirts and heels. Red is the shade to be seen in, FYI.
Floral Dresses
Style notes: The floral dress has made a comeback for spring, and it's best when worn head to toe. Offset feminine pussybows or ditsy prints with boyish footwear, or go the whole hog and clash with another floral print.
White Boots
Style notes: Bold boots are a key trend for autumn, and bright white was the look en vogue for the Copenhagen shows. Laurence Decade's elongated ankle boots were having a moment, but a pair of kitten heels is a match made in heaven for a minidress.
