I'm a Homebody—These Are the Loungewear Pieces I Swear By
Even in my wildest party days (circa 2010 when this headline probably would have read "I'm a Party Girl—These Are the Going-Out Pieces I Swear By"), I’ve really always been a homebody at heart. I am the type of girl who relishes in all things cozy. I’d take a night in watching The Crown curled up on my sofa any day of the week. I revel in plush pillows, pine-scented candles, a roaring fire, shearling blankets, a smorgasbord of books, and hot cups of tea in the comfort of my abode. And after having a baby last year, I’ve reached a whole new level of feeling connected and grounded to my home. Nesting has been my favorite sport.
So since my middle name is basically hygge, I’d say I'm pretty well versed in the art of dressing at home. Sure, sometimes an oversize tee and baggy pajama pants are an easy option, but I'm particularly partial to loungewear (matching sets are my favorite) that is not only seriously soft and cozy against my skin but also looks beautiful (because you never know when an Insta moment will arise).
So if you’re a fellow homebody like I am or simply want to get in the cozy winter spirit, then scroll below as I share some of my favorite loungewear pieces I swear by. Time to put the kettle on.
Naked Cashmere's pieces are the ultimate in luxurious comfort. The Kaia sweater and matching Uri pants are my go-to for a chill yet chic outfit when I have friends over for brunch or tea. They're made from 100% cashmere and are sumptuously soft to the touch. Oh, and did I mention they're loved by celebs? (Recently spotted on Gigi Hadid and Demi Moore.)

I've always been a huge fan of Eberjey's soft and comfy pj's, and just when I thought things couldn't get cozier around here, the brand released some seriously soft loungewear pieces that I guarantee you'll never want to take off. This super-soft brushed-jersey matching set (aptly named Cozy Time) is one of my favorites for lounging about with the baby on the weekend. It also comes in a cool charcoal gray.

Lou Grey's signature soft sweats are not only perfect for a Sunday binge-watching sesh, but they're also ideal for wearing out and about. They're wonderfully warm and comfortable, making them a great option for traveling, casual winter activities, and running to get your morning coffee. They come in four versatile colors, but I'm a huge fan of the rich burgundy hue.

Shop the matching Super Plush Hoodie ($89).
There aren't enough luscious adjectives to describe the deliciousness of Skin's loungewear. It's always on my birthday and holiday wish lists because the brand's pieces are simply divine. They exude a relaxed sophistication that will elevate your loungewear game for good. The cotton-knit separates are some of my favorites.

I love a good waffle knit, and the Flora Nikrooz Bella Waffle Short and Hoodie set is the absolute cutest of them all! Perfect for a chill date night at home and great for sleeping in, too.

One of my favorite new brands on heavy rotation in my weekend wardrobe is Lett. I love its luxurious, stretchy, and expensive-feeling fabrics. They look super chic too—easy to wear out and about. As the brand's site says, its pieces are "intended for layovers and lunch dates, without ever making you choose between comfort or style." I love the wide-leg pants (with pockets—hurrah!), and I'll usually pair some of the tops with comfy leggings.

You might have spotted this cozy sweatsuit all over your feed recently. That's because influencers everywhere have been praising its coziness this winter. And I've certainly been quick to catch on. It's warm, classic, and super easy to wear—perfect for those crisp early mornings pottering around the house. Moreover, it comes in a plethora of cool colors.

I'm a sucker for a great mommy-and-me matching set, and Saint Haven delivers in every soft, soothing, and snug way. Created by Jacqueline Sacks, a mom whose mission was to design clothing that soothes even the most sensitive skin, the collection of silky-soft loungewear pieces are ridiculously comfortable and wonderfully gentle-feeling against the skin. These pieces are hypoallergenic, breathable, and lightweight enough to sleep in.

Shop the matching Second Skin Leggings ($88).
Shop the matching All Day Jogger ($55).
You probably know Cosabella for its seriously soft underwear and bras, but it also carries an amazing range of sleepwear and loungewear that was practically made for the art of relaxation. This striped matching set has an ultra-wearable slouchy silhouette that's made of soft cotton and modal. Perfect for watching movies or getting some z's.

I always get tons of compliments when I wear this heather-gray rib-knit pullover and matching pants—perhaps because it's so striking in its simplicity. Moreover, it looks way more expensive than its price tag. I predict this one will sell out fast because it's such great value.

I basically lived in easy Monrow sweatpants and comfortable Everlane tees on my maternity leave. They were perfect for lounging with the baby or popping out for walks yet still looked nice enough to greet visitors. I want them in every color!
