Alessandra Ambrosio is done with sweatpants. Well, probably not technically, but she has been out around L.A. lately wearing things like jeans and heels. (What are those, right?) Take earlier this week: Ambrosio was photographed wearing loose, cropped jeans (that are also distressed and light-wash, hitting on several big denim trends) with a Bottega Veneta bag and shoes. But it's what she wore with these things that got our heads turning.
The trend in question is crochet, and there's no denying that it looks perfect with jeans (or denim shorts and skirts, if you'd prefer). While the word may make you think of the '70s or something your grandma likes to knit, we're here to assure you that it's gotten a new life this season.
