It was only a matter of time before there was new take on the naked trend, and a version that’s popping up all over the place this spring is one borrowed from the runways: sheer raincoats. Yep, seen everywhere from Chanel and Burberry to Calvin Klein and Anya Hindmarch, they were a hit on the S/S 18 runways that were too cool to ignore. And now they are one of the sleeper trends of the season that we absolutely love.

The fun part of this trend is that it lets you showcase the pieces you’re wearing underneath the coat. So a dress with a vibrant pattern or a top in a bold pop of color won’t be covered up when you throw on your coat. If you’re ready to try one for yourself, look no further. Ahead, we’ve rounded up the cute raincoats in different levels of sheer that we want in our closets now.

At Chanel, clear raincoats covered matching tweed skirt suits and were paired with cool see-through boots.

Anya Hindmarch made a case for wearing bold patterned pieces under a clear raincoat.

Semi-sheer colored raincoats were everywhere on the Burberry runway.

At Calvin Klein, a plastic plaid trench was the statement-making piece everyone was talking about.
