I Spend All My Money on Designer Glasses—5 Brands Worth Investing In

The perfect pair of sunglasses is often the finishing touch to a flawless ensemble. Sure, you may have a pair or two in your offering, but there is a smattering of new silhouettes out there that we thought might pique your interest if you're looking for something fresh to mix into your rotation. Although I hate to admit it, one of my regular designer splurges is on designer sunglasses, and while I won't admit how many I've accumulated over the years, you can trust me when I say I'm an expert on the topic now. So when I say these brands are it, believe me.
To highlight some of my favorites, I decided to break it down to the best sunglasses brands that are particularly noteworthy right now—including options from different price points and aesthetics. We're talking everything from trendier classic shapes to more statement-making vibes if that's more your speed. You'll also notice a range of labels highlighted as well to showcase the trends in question.
With all that in mind, keep scrolling for the best designer sunglasses edit you need to be shopping this summer.
Celine
Celine's eyewear has been spotted on nearly every It girl and fashion person for the last few years. Naturally, it had to start off our list. I own three pairs myself, and while they may be on the pricier side, the cost per wear on my pairs practically makes them free.
Chimi
If you're looking for something that gives off fashion-insider vibes, look no further than Chimi, the Swedish eyewear brand that's fusing tech, design, aesthetics, and futurism. The brand has become one of my favorites, and thanks to its trend-forward yet classic designs, it's the brand I reach for the most in my closet.
Le Specs
Every time someone asks me what my best sunglasses purchase is, hands down, I have to say it's Le Specs. The Australian brand has been on my holy-grail list for quite some time, with a smattering of chic, under-$100 styles I have scattered around the house (no, seriously). The price point on these is lower than other sunglasses brands, but the quality is still there and impeccable as always. I've rebought my Outta Love sunglasses at least four times in the last couple of years because I can't stand being without them.
Prada
Our editors know that Prada makes some of the best eyewear. I've been convinced to try out a pair or two in store, but while I'm still saving up money to get my first pair, nearly all of our editors swear by the cult-loved brand.
Elisa Johnson
If you haven't heard of one of the best brands yet, let me put you on: This L.A.-based label started as the brainchild of Elisa Johnson, bona fide fashion girl and daughter of basketball player Magic Johnson. While Elisa's sunglasses brand has blown up over the last few years thanks to the brand's viral glossy Jane shades, a scroll through the website will show you it's more than just its best seller, with dozens of colorful, statement sunglasses that make dressing in the summer incredibly easy.
