I'm a Shopping Expert—Here Are the 30 Pieces on My Spring Wish List This Year
With the change in seasons inevitably comes a change in how we approach our wardrobes. In winter, I’m all about those cosy layers, rich jewel tones and fancy textures. As soon as the sun starts to shine in spring, however, I feel myself getting drawn to light, bright and breezy pieces. My denim choices change from black to blue and white, and my beige blazer switches out for prints and pastels.
It will probably still be a while until we're in top-to-toe linen, but for now, as we transition through the great British springtime, I find picking one or two fresh pieces and layering them up with a trench or spring jacket does just the trick.
To help build out your new-season wardrobe, below you'll find everything on my current spring spring wish list. It's made up of simple but effective throw-on styles guaranteed to freshen up your wardrobe instantly and make it a much more enjoyable experience getting dressed in the morning. There's something from all my go-to brands— from M&S and Arket to Totême and Rixo— including pretty pieces and understated classics that not only work perfectly for the upcoming spring but can also be transitioned through many seasons to come.
