The 3-Piece Outfit Formula Our Editors Always Wear to the Office
Every workplace has its own dress code, so what works in one office might not work in another. As a fashion media company,Best Knockoff Luxury Clothing is fairly relaxed, which means office attire is open to interpretation. So what do our editors wear to the office? When I asked my fellow editors to weigh in, I was surprised to find out that all of our outfits revolve around the same key pieces.
While our personal style varies across the board, there are three items our editors wear to the office on the regular: a blazer, pants, and heels. Yes, some of us are more trend-forward, some more classic, and others more minimal, but regardless of the style tribes we fall under, these three office-outfit staples are the foundations of our workplace wardrobes. Go on to see which pieces our editors wear to the office and shop our exact outfits.
"When it comes to office dressing, my first priority is to look polished, so I usually opt for tailored separates. I rely on more trendy accessories to keep my look squarely in the fashion category. I don't ever want to look too corporate. Some oversize baroque pearls and a leopard mini bag do the trick."
For the office, I usually wear a uniform that consists of a tailored blazer over a bodysuit with jeans (right now I'm leaning hard into wide-leg fits) and my favorite Chanel heels. I wore this exact outfit last week, which took me from a day of meetings at the office to a Louis Vuitton event at night.
"I'm very thankful our office doesn't have a formal dress code because I live to wear jeans just about every day. I do try to dress them up a bit, though, so I'll typically wear either low-heeled ankle boots or sandals, depending on the season, with a nice jacket to add polish."
"Call me lazy, but I try to get away with wearing jeans and a tee as many days as possible, which means I rely on cool jackets and blazers to add polish and mix things up. Right now, I have this Veronica Beard blazer on my wish list, which I'd wear with jeans and By Far shoes."
"I love mixing tailored pieces with both casual and on-trend items. I'd say a go-to look of mine is high-rise denim with an oversize blazer and strappy sandals."
"I approach my workwear with a smart-casual mindset. While we're lucky enough to have free reign with our dress code here at the WWW office, I always add professional pieces to pull my outfit together and look polished for any business meetings or press appointments that arise. My usual uniform consists of straight-leg jeans; a crisp white T-shirt, shell, or blouse; a blazer; and strappy sandals, now that the temps have started to rise here in L.A. I tend to stick to neutral hues, but occasionally I'll throw in a colorful top to keep things lively."
"I like my office outfits to hit on at least one current trend (hey, I work in a fashion office, after all) but also have an element of polish. Right now, my outfit rotation looks something like this: a thin printed top tucked into loose-fitting denim and finished off with pointed-toe mules."
"Thank goodness I don't work in an office that requires business-casual dress, because I basically live in jeans and minidresses. I find that having a really simple go-to workday uniform makes dressing for the office quick and easy, which is important for me, because I tend to oversleep. My office uniform is some iteration of the following formula: Madewell's Perfect Summer jeans, a white Vince T-shirt, an Anine Bing blazer, and white ankle boots or point-toe mules by Matiko. Never fails me."
Next, the 13 pieces I'm wearing on repeat right now.
