6 Products That EmRata Relies on for Supermodel Skin
I've made no secret of the fact that there are a whole host of celebs that I follow religiously for one main reason: they have amazing skin. After all, if the likes of Katie Holmes, Victoria Beckham and Sienna Miller credit a product with providing them with a killer glow, then I'm definitely interested. But recently, I've started to narrow my scope of skincare inspiration even further. From uncovering the £18 product that Jourdan Dunn swears by for radiant skin to the reasons that Kate Moss still has incredible skin at 45, I've turned my attention to the supermodel set. After all, these are women who spend hours backstage with the very best makeup artists and facialists consequently know all the tips and tricks of the trade.
And there's one woman, in particular, who always steps out with a covetable glow: Emily Ratajkowski.
Take one look at the model and actor's Instagram account and there's no disputing that EmRata is pretty much the queen of dewy skin. But what's her secret? Keep scrolling to discover the six skincare products that Emily Ratajkowski credits for her supermodel complexion, and then shop them for yourself.
#1: Kiehl's Exfoliator
"No matter how crazy my day is, I always take the time to take care of my skin," Ratajkowski told Coveteur. "[I'll] do a little exfoliating and depending on what's going on, I'll use different products. I'm using a tea tree exfoliating face wash, and I'm also using a Kiehl's exfoliating cleanser that's actually for men. It's really nice."
#2: L'Oréal Eye Makeup Remover
If there's one thing that Emily always does after a long day, it's remove her makeup. "If I need makeup remover, I use this L'Oréal eye makeup remover that my mom introduced me to years ago," she told the New York Times.
#3: Joanna Vargas Retinol
Ratajkowski credits retinol with maintaining that supermodel glow. "It's the only thing that's really been proven to help with anti-ageing," she told Harper's Bazaar. "I've tried a lot of different retinols. I think Joanna Vargas's Super Nova Serum is absolutely the best."
#4: By Terry Moisturiser
EmRata's next skincare step? "Then I put on moisturiser," she told the New York Times. "By Terry Cellularose Baume d'Eau is great. A lot of moisturisers, they don't absorb into your skin quickly enough, but this one seeps in right away."
#5: Sisley Face Oil
Turns out, even supermodels get dry skin. After moisturising, Ratajkowski often layers on a face oil if she needs extra hydration. "Then maybe I'll use the Sisley Black Rose Precious Oil," Emily told Into the Gloss. "Tonight, I needed it because I was a little dry."
#6: Glossier Face Mask
"When I'm traveling, I'll bring along my Glossier Mega Greens Galaxy Pack," EmRata told the New York Times. "It's a mask, and I put it on after a flight. When I get to the hotel, I put it on for 20 minutes, and my skin feels so much better."
Next up, I'm a total skincare snob and I'll be adding these products to my Christmas list.
