Emma Watson Just Wore a Very '90s Dress-and-Shoe Combination

Nowadays, there are few things as rare as an Emma Watson sighting. Luckily, when we do get a glimpse of the actress and activist, it’s always something to write home about. This time, Watson attended Elton John’s AIDS Foundation’s viewing party of the Academy Awards, and in true style, she opted for a fashion-forward look that immediately had theBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing office buzzing.

Few and far between, our most recent sightings of Watson have been a preppy Prada look, a bold McQueen moment and an avant-garde situation way back last summer. But there’s a thread that can be woven through all these sightings: Watson’s style is always pushing fashion boundaries. This time, she opted for an oh-so-relevant sheer moment courtesy of Gabriela Hearst, with pointed-toe boots peeping out beneath, accumulating in an overall '90s feel. The long length and romantic off-shoulder design of the dress balanced out the more risqué appeal of its sheer fabrication. With warmer days arriving and our social calendars beginning to fill up, we think this sheer style is one to consider re-creating over the coming months.
