My Mom Taught Me These 5 Tricks That Always Make an Outfit Look Expensive

It's a known fact among my family and friends: I got my love for clothing from my mother. Just because something is made with leather, doesn't automatically mean it's going to be super expensive or designer. In fact, you can find good leather gems at some of your favorite affordable retailers (or even some good on-sale options at pricier sites). Even though I can find some really good faux-leather options, I also like to invest in the real deal since I know it'll be more likely to hold up over time.

Go neutral

I think I've said this a million times, but my mom agrees: Neutrals just make everything look chicer. We're both not sure what it is, but it's the quickest way to make your outfit look five times more elevated.
