How to Create 3 Top Hair Looks for Fall With the Chicest Accessories
So sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but summer is on its last sun-kissed leg. Slowly but surely, temperatures will start to drop, the humidity will ease, and we'll brush the dust off our favorite pairs of seasonal boots and denim, which, depending on how much summer style fatigue you have, might be a blessing in disguise. Another burgeoning perk? A fresh onslaught of fall hair trends to replace your current rotation of messy buns, high ponytails, and beachy salt-crusted braids.
To get the official lowdown on all of the coolest fall hair trends our favorite celebrities and models will be wearing this coming September through December, we asked the industry's leading hair queen, Justine Marjan, for her expert predictions. As the mastermind behind Instagram's most copied hair trends, an obsession-worthy collab with hair accessory brand, Kitsch, and some of the most iconic manes in Hollywood (think Ashley Graham, Kim Kardashian West, and Ariana Grande), there's no one we trust more when it comes to the fate of our strands.
Here, Marjan shares three top hair trends for fall and how to accessorize them with some of her favorite accessories. Keep scrolling for the step-by-step breakdowns, photos, and product staples.
Old-Hollywood Curls Paired With Rhinestone Snap Clips
Prep dry hair with the GHD Glide Hot Brush ($169) before spraying hairspray throughout and brushing through.
Create a clean side-part using a fine-tooth comb.
Using the GHD ($199), curl one-inch horizontal sections and pin using Kitsch No Crease Clips ($8).
Once the hair has cooled, remove the clips and gently brush through using a smoothing brush from Mason Pearson.
Finish the look with hairspray and use a toothbrush to brush down any flyaways.
Add Kitsch x Justine Marjan Mini Rhinestone Snap Clips ($10) to one side tucked behind the ear.

Soft, Retro Waves Paired With a Pearl Headband
Prep dry hair with the GHD Glide Hot Brush ($169) and mist with hairspray. Using the GHD Curve Soft Curl Hair Iron ($199), take vertical one-inch sections and wrap the hair away from the face leaving the ends straight.
Spray a dry texturizing spray throughout the hair and then run a smoothing shine serum through the ends.
Add a headband behind the ears, leaving some front pieces out.

Voluminous Low-Ponytail Paired With a Statement Headband
Prep the hair with a dry texturizing spray. Add Hidden Crown Clip in Extensions for fullness (Marjan used shade 116 for me), and pre-curl them using the GHD Curve Soft Curl Iron ($199).
Brush back the hair and tease the root using a smoothing brush from Mason Pearson.
Gather the hair into a low ponytail and secure with a Blax 4mm Clear Elastic ($5).
Wrap a chunk of the hair around the base of the ponytail and secure with a small bobby pin. Then, spray with hairspray.
Slide a headband from the front of the hairline toward the back behind ears.

She considers her day-to-day beauty aesthetic very low-maintenance and relies on staples like clear brow serum (from Kimiko!), Lawless's Lip Plumping Mask in Cherry Vanilla, and an eyelash curler. For special occasions or days when she's taking more meetings or has an event, she'll wear anything and everything from Charlotte Tilbury (the foundations are game-changing), some shimmer on her lids (Stila and Róen do it best), and a few coats of the best mascara-type product on earth, Surratt's Noir Lash Tint.
