This month, however, has been much different. During the height of the season, I very much fell into the "a closet full of clothes with nothing to wear" trap, so I decided that a mini overhaul was in order. There were a few trends that I was interested in test-driving—like tie-waist tops and Y2K-style pants—as well as a few staple pieces I've had saved in my mental mood board for years.
Let's just say I went a little haywire with the buy button. My fingers were cramped from constantly typing out my card information, and I got to know my UPS delivery man on a first-name basis. A lot of boxes came my way, but not everything I bought made the cut. There were some duds, but the try-on process is all in the game of fashion, right?
