Most Wanted is a weekly series in which oneBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing
team member or friend of the brand will share the top 30 fashion and beauty finds on their current wish list.
The days leading up to New York Fashion Week, the first stop of four in the marathon that is fashion month, are some of the busiest of the entire year for those who call the industry home. Not only do you have to lock in your schedule for nearly the entire month, but you also need to brainstorm coverage ideas, meet with publicists, attend pre-NYFW events, and, the most mentally taxing of all, plan your outfits.
Fashion month's kickoff is just days away, and as a fashion editor, I am knee-deep in the planning process, taking inspiration from the runways (both current and archival), street style, my never-ending Instagram Saved folder, and more and pulling from my existing closet before shopping out the final touches. It's a full-time job, but it's one that's certainly worth it when fashion month comes around and I love everything I'm wearing. (Yes, it does make a difference.) Scroll down for a sneak peek into my fashion-month wish list.
H&M
Wool T-Shirt
Every good outfit starts with an elevated basic.
Reformation
Val '90s Mid Rise Straight Jeans
These studded jeans are perfect for those early or not-super-busy days of fashion week when you want to look cool but not put too much effort in.
Urban Outfitters
Soft
Stretchy Headband Set
This is a key styling piece in 2023, according to celebs like Hailey Bieber and couture collections by Schiaparelli.
Ben-Amun
Silver-Tone Earrings
Style these with your stretchy black headband for a very retro, elegant look.
Massimo Dutti
Short Sleeveless Black Dress
Massimo Dutti has this dress styled in two ways on its site—alone and with this crinkled midi skirt underneath—and both options have me completely and absolutely smitten.
Zara
Heeled Mules
Fashion week calls for chic, understated heels that you can wear with every outfit if you need to and that aren't so high that you can't walk anywhere. No one has enough budget for Ubers to every show—no one.
Jenny Bird
Supernova Ring
My co-worker Jasmine just got this ring in the mail, and we were hard-core ogling over it all day at the office last week.
Open Edit
Oversize Double Breasted Blazer
The perfect black blazer, found. For fashion week, I'll be styling it with a sheer skirt, but normally, it'll probably accompany my go-to jeans and T-shirts.
Mango
Semi-Transparent Polka Dot Skirt
Just imagine how cute this skirt will look with the above black blazer.
Charles
Keith
Chalk2 Gabine Leather Ballerinas
Point-toe flats are everywhere right now.
Prada
Re-Edition 1995 Carolyn Nappa Leather Bag
I've had this bag for about a year now and have worn it at least four days a week since the day I got it. It has three compartments, which is great during fashion week because it helps me keep everything organized. Plus, it goes with everything.
H&M
Oxford Shirt
I've been loving wearing a baby-pink button-down shirt with sheer skirts, denim, hot pants… You name it. Mine is vintage Brooks Brothers, but this H&M alt is just as good and far easier to source.
Tibi
Active Knit Scottie Jogger Pants
I just got these in royal blue and am planning to buy every other color and wearing them on rotation all year long.
Open Edit
Regina Mary Jane Pointed Toe Flat
Our NYC beauty editor Katie wore these in black to the office the other day after buying them from one of my stories and couldn't stop raving about their quality and comfortability—all for just $60. Since fashion week involves a great deal of walking around, those are two things I absolutely need.
Tory Burch
Hook-and-Eye Tunic
I haven't been able to shake the thought of Tory Burch's sculpted tunics since I first saw them on the runway at the brand's spring 2023 show last September. A year later, they're on sale and sitting patiently in my cart while I do the girl math necessary to convince me to press purchase before NYFW.
Fifth
Ninth
Taya 53mm Polarized Oval Sunglasses
These feel very Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy to me, and anything she would've worn gets a resounding yes from me.
Helsa
Jersey Mock Neck Mini Dress
I can't wait to have my NYFW Carrie Bradshaw moment in this new Helsa mini.
Zara
Abstract Earrings
These just arrived and are so, so, so chic. You'd never believe they were $23 in person.
COS
Wool Wide Leg Trousers
I've been low-key watching these for a while, and now that I have an excuse to buy them, I think I have to.
Zara
Knit Zip Sweater
I need at least one red moment during fashion week. It's practically the law.
Lafayette 148
Pleated Organic Cotton Poplin Midi Skirt
I've been looking for the perfect A-line white skirt for months, but it wasn't until I tried this one on from Lafayette 148 that I finally found it. Simply put, it checks off every box.
Bottega Veneta
Sardine Small Intrecciato Leather Tote
My latest designer-bag purchase will be debuting during New York Fashion Week, and I already know it'll be the star of the show.
J.Crew
Sculptural Hinge Bracelet
Oh look, I found 2023's most-wanted accessory for $60.
Reformation
Florentina Knit Top
There's something so upscale and rich about this draped, off-the-shoulder Ref top. I can't resist it.
Zara
Leather Belt
A good belt will take any outfit from zero to 100. This one's more than good—it's great.
Madewell
Denim Mid-Rise Maxi Skirt
This is the skirt that I'll be lacing the above belt through.
Massimo Dutti
Suede Slingback High-Heel Shoes
Swooning.
Source Unknown
Puff-Sleeve Blouse
Those puff sleeves have me in an absolute choke hold. The sale price is only an added bonus.
Oroblu
Different 20 Tights
I'm still into the pants-as-tights trend no matter how often my mom calls to try to convince me not to be.
