Zoë Kravitz and New York It Girls Are Wearing This Highly Specific, Outfit-Making Scarf Trend
While out in Los Angeles last night, Zoë Kravitz wore an unexpectedly perfect winter outfit for New York.
The actress styled a pair of black corduroy pants with a long brown suede trench, black ballet flats, and a long bright red scarf. Apparently, a penchant for fabulous scarves run in the family. And while Kravitz's take is far less likely to inspire memes across the world, like her dad's big scarf did back in 2012, it is absolutely going to inspire winter outfits worldwide.
The outfit is perfect for a crisp day in Los Angeles and a less-frigid one in New York. The layers don't burden, and all of the textures work together to create a look that's as comfortable to wear as it is easy to look at. While winter can feel drab and it's easy to just cocoon ourselves in neutrals, a red scarf is an easy way to add on a last-minute pop of color. And it's exactly what you can expect people everywhere to do be doing in an attempt to re-create this perfect Zoë Kravitz look.
