DOLCE GABBANA X SKIMS
Iconic Italian luxury house Dolce Gabbana has joined forces with shapewear brand SKIMS to create a new collection. Merging D&G’s signature leopard print with the contouring silhouettes and fit of SKIMS' underwear and loungewear basics, this is a flamboyant collaboration like no other. The campaign features SKIMS founder Kim Kardashian shot by photographer and creative Nadia Lee Cohen, who has previously worked with Kardashian on SKIMS campaigns and Cohen's personal artwork. The imagery is billed as an ode to women and Italy, depicting Kardashian and her sister Kourtney Kardashian Barker in typical Italian scenes.
The collection will be available to purchase at SKIMS.com, SKIMS retail stores, select Dolce Gabbana boutiques and other selected luxury retailers.
JACQUEMUS OPENS LONDON STORE
French luxury brand Jacquemus has opened the doors to its first-ever London store on New Bond Street. This follows the opening of the New York flagship store just last month, cementing Jacquemus as one of the hottest new luxury brands of the past decade. Previously a gallery, the London store is a light, airy space set across four floors with a Mediterranean design and traditional Victorian architectural details. In addition to the brand's bold ready-to-wear and sculptural accessories, a plethora of art and objects are on display, curated by Simon Porte Jacquemus.
33 New Bond Street, London, W1S 2RS.
CHANEL'S FESTIVE LIGHTS IN LONDON
There was a time when we officially marked the beginning of the festive season when a certain advert appeared on the television. This year, we were waiting for the Chanel Christmas lights to be switched on. Yes, you read that right—phones at the ready, because festive lights have never looked quite so chic. This is the first year a brand has ever owned the Christmas lights on London's Bond Street, which currently display a series of twinkling Chanel N°5 bottles. They were switched on by Chanel ambassador and actress Lucy Boynton.
ACNE STUDIOS FEATURES CHARLI XCX IN NEW CAMPAIGN
Just when we thought Charli XCX couldn’t get any more relevant, cult brand Acne Studios dropped its latest campaign, which features the singer and all-round It girl. Shot in L.A. by Talia Chetrit, the campaign includes pieces from the S/S 25 collection and was released towards the end of the Charli XCX and Troye Sivan Sweat tour, for which she wore several custom Acne Studios looks.
