Everyone With Good Taste Will Be Wearing These Shoes Come Spring 2026
Your guide to the fashion-month footwear you should have on your radar.
As much as fashion month is about identifying trends and seeing what vision designers have for the future of their houses, at the end of the day, it’s really about selling sartorial goods, from apparel to handbags and shoes. That’s what makes the fashion merry-go-round keep turning. And this season, for spring 2026, brands understood the assignment, particularly in the footwear department, debuting sellable shoes after sellable shoes.
In New York, Tory Burch’s beaded kitten heels and peep-toe loafers and Khaite's heeled moccasins caught the attention of showgoers and social media viewers alike, while the various takes on clogs at Bottega Veneta and Versace sparked conversations about future purchases in Milan. Paris took home first prize, though, with Chloé, Dries Van Noten, Saint Laurent, Christian Dior, and of course, Chanel, all showing strong shoe collections for the season ahead.
My wish list, you ask? Keep scrolling. Every shoe I’ll be purchasing (along with the entirety of the fashion crowd) from the spring 2026 collections is below.
Chanel Mules
Once the buzz died down from Matthieu Blazy's Chanel debut and everyone could dive into the details of his collection, shoes became topic number one. From the shrunken cap toes to the suede mules, there wasn't a shoe in the entire offering that disappointed. Personally, I have three specific pairs on my wish list, with this black-and-tan version at the very top.

Christian Dior Satin Peep-Toe Pumps
Fun was the name of the game when it came to footwear at Jonathan Anderson's first Christian Dior show. There was kitsch and playfulness, but personally, it was these satin peep-toes that made me want to get out my wallet and start spending. Though they make a stellar case for wearing as wedding shoes, I can also see them styled simply with vintage jeans and a button-down shirt or cool shrunken jacket.
Shop a right-now alternative:
Khaite Court Shoes
As someone who just saw these up close and personal at Khaite's recent S/S 26 re-see, you can trust me when I say that they're a must-buy come spring when they'll start arriving in stores. These court shoes are simple, yes, but in the best way, with subtle details that make them feel luxurious and elevated.
Shop a right-now alternative:
Prada Bow Heels
Every season, like clockwork, Raf Simons and Miuccia Prada design a shoe that I need the second it debuts on the catwalk. I've bought pairs from the last, let's say, six collections, and spring 2026 will be no exception. My favorites were these white, low-vamp pumps with bow details. They're simpler than a lot of Prada runway shoes, but I kind of love that about them.
Shop a right-now alternative:
Versace Peep-Toe Clogs
The clogs at Versace's '80s-inspired show weren't anything like the boring versions you often see on the market. These peep-toe versions were striking, with a touch of sex appeal that made me do a complete 180 on the shoe style that I formerly said I'd never buy into.
Shop a right-now alternative:
Tory Burch Beaded Kitten Heels
If you hate pretty things, keep scrolling because the beaded kitten heels at Tory Burch were just about the prettiest shoes I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot of shoes). Dainty, delicate, and very "ladylike," the statement pumps garnered their fair share of praise, and not just from me.
Shop a right-now alternative:
Saint Laurent Slingbacks
Leave it to Saint Laurent to make a shoe this high, that I'd normally never believe I could adequately walk in, feel like a must-have item for spring 2026. They're just so chic, especially in this red shade when paired with a pair of sheer tights. I'm smitten and would risk my ankles to wear them even once.
Shop a right-now alternative:
Fforme Barely There Flip-Flops
Unless you've been living under a rock for the entirety of 2024 and 2025, you probably already know how popular flip-flops are right now, but the S/S 26 shows provided us with a new version that'll keep them feeling fresh well into next year. Introducing the barely there flip-flop: an exceptionally lightweight, almost-naked thong sandal that'll look so sleek and sophisticated once the weather warms up again.
Shop a right-now alternative:
Bottega Veneta Metallic Clogs
Metallic clogs? Normally, I'd say hell no, but Louise Trotter has a hold on me, and the shiny silver pair she debuted at Bottega Veneta this season immediately put me into financial-planning mode. They're so fun and unexpected—a soon-to-sell-out hit if I've ever seen one.
Shop a right-now alternative:
Chloé Peep-Toe Heels
Chloé's boho-chic-turned-'80s energy led to a bevy of popular shoes, from PVC princess heels to color-clashing satin thong sandals. These, in particular, which have a Cinderella-esque silver heel and a peep-toe, are especially alluring and will look so chic with dresses, skirts, and jeans next spring and summer.
