Every Stylish Person I Know Will Sport These Sneaker Colors This Summer

Pop quiz! If the past few years have been dominated by minimalism, neutral colors, and capsule wardrobes, what trend can we expect to see next? If your answer was something like "bold, bright shades," you get an A. It's true: Fun, colorful clothing is so back. The fashion set is even embracing neon, so much so that they're incorporating bright reds and blues into their everyday outfits. I'm slowly introducing color back into my accessories and footwear, starting with my sneakers. Look anywhere on the streets of L.A. and NY, and you'll find fashionable folks sporting shoes in shades of baby blue, bubblegum pink, chocolate brown, and more. Of course, a pair of adidas is on my summer shopping list—I can't decide between the Tokyo and Taekwondo shoes, but either way, I'm getting a pair in one of the four shades below. Keep scrolling to see my top picks.

Baby Blue

This is probably my favorite color trend out of the group. I love that baby blue stands out, but isn't quite as bright as Brat green, for example. I'd style these with a pair of white culottes and a black button-down for a cool, color-blocking moment.

The Wicked influence is real. Designers fully embraced millennial-pink shades on the runway, and this color trend has finally trickled down into our footwear. Style this shade with a pretty white sundress for a pop of color.

Chocolate Brown

Although bold, maximalist colors are frontrunners in the trend department, I (and others) can't seem to let go of chocolate brown. It's a shade that never goes out of style, making it a great investment, no matter the season.

Chili Red

Another shade the fashion set can't seem to quit? Chili red. It's a great option for those who aren't quite ready for a bold statement shoe, but still want to work some color into their wardrobe.
