This Is What Chrissy Teigen Is Gifting Her Kids, Friends, and Family From Amazon

I asked the mother of four what she's gifting her kids, friends, and close relatives this season, as well as her gifting tips, holiday traditions at home, and what item she's most excited about giving—and receiving—this year. Keep scrolling to get inspired.

How do you set a holiday-season mood in your home?

Honestly, it’s the people who set it! We don’t do a ton of indoor décor—right now, our friend Haik decorated the backyard with these beautifully imperfect pumpkins. Then inside the real mood comes when everyone is gathered in the family room, sitting on the couch and floor, absolutely losing it over football. I’d say my son asks Alexa for a stat on a player maybe 25 times a game. And my kids ask Alexa to play “I like to move it move it” even more.

Do you have any holiday traditions?

We love to make sure John’s family makes it to us, wherever we are. And the football. My god, the football. Oh! I also keep my menu the same each year. I guess that’s a tradition? The only thing that changes is the way we prepare the turkey. Twenty years and I’m still trying to find the best way. But we just got an incredible smoker (on Amazon!), and it has been pumping out some amazing meats lately so fingers crossed!

Do you have a gift-giving strategy this year?

This year, I’m really trying to balance giving gifts from brands everyone already knows and loves, like these products below from Coach, Laneige, Ninja,and Shark with lots of presents from Amazon Essentials. That’s one thing I love about Amazon’s Holiday Shop; the selection of products and brands are all in one place.

What presents are you most excited to give this year?

I think stockings are my favorite part. We always make sure absolutely anyone with us gets their own personalized stocking, so the mantels are always so loaded I worry they’ll crumble over in the morning. Aside from stockings, I love getting people things they will consistently use but still really never get for themselves. A beautiful chef’s knife (ahem, Cravings!), cutting boards, light masks, really luxe face and body creams. The Shark Hair Dryer is another favorite of mine. My daughter Luna loves doing her hair in the morning and her beautiful curls love the diffuser attachment.

Anything special you’re hoping will be under the tree for you?

You know what, I don’t often think about my own gifts as I truly, truly need nothing. But I will say I desperately need an extra-large mixing bowl. Not a set of nesting mixing bowls, but a comically large metal mixing bowl. I have so many people to feed now that I’m finding myself having to break recipes down and do them in really annoying steps because I usually triple every recipe nowadays, and no bowl I have will allow me to just make it all at once! So praying this gets to John…er Santa…somehow.

Are you a last-minute shopper?

I would say I shop up until the last minute, but I love it all year long. There have been days where fast, free Prime shipping has absolutely SAVED me—from buying random Girl Scout patches for a next-day troop meeting or food warmers I signed up to bring for school.
