“Comfortable” Jeans Are All I Want to Wear This Winter—These 4 Pairs Are the Perfect Fit

It may be the start of a new year, but for me, January is still very much about being cozy and comfortable. (It's usually around March when I come out of my winter wardrobe hibernation and start thinking about fresh new pieces to enliven my wardrobe). For now, I'm leaning into my comfy closet, and yet, while I'd love to wear cozy sweatpants all day everyday, I do still have to go out into the world (the office, meetings, events etc!), which is where my comfortable jeans come in.

Comfy jeans are hands down the hero piece of my winter wardrobe. When I'm wearing jeans I inherently look like I made more of an effort than wearing leggings or sweatpants, but the comfortable jeans I talk of are made of soft and cozy fabrics, and easy-to-move-in, relaxed silhouettes that are far more gentle on my soul! And paired with the right top, blazer or coat, they can look incredibly polished and put together.

Still Here, Cool Jean

My Still Here Cool Jeans are hands down one of my favorites in my closet. Not only are the jeans trend-forward (and a favorite among the fashion set and celebs—we often see Zoë Kravitz wearing a pair), they are also insanely comfortable. They feature a relaxed, wide-leg, low-rise silhouette with an adjustable toggle string. They're made of Still Here's Cloud fabric—which on their website they say is "the softest denim in the world"—made from 100% cotton, using advanced weaving technology to achieve a super airy and drapey feel. Every time I wear these I get compliments on them. While a little on the pricey side, I promise you won't regret them, especially if you like a relaxed low-rise silhouette.

Rag Bone, Mirimar Drawstring Pants

My colleague, Sierra Mayhew wrote about Rag Bone's sweatpant jeans last fall, and of course, I just had to try them for myself. The viral Miramar jeans are quite literally sweatpants disguised as jeans. I adore these flattering jeans and if you're looking for a comfy white pair this is an excellent option. Made from AG's Cloud Soft Denim—a special twill construction that gets softer with every wear. Agolde, '90s Pinch Waist High Rise Straight

When it comes to dressing for the office or meetings (and I still want to feel comfortable), I turn to my Agolde '90s Pinch Waist High Rise jeans.
