I fell down a research rabbit hole looking for labels with a similar aesthetic to Paloma Wool when I first discovered Geel. There’s a whole corner of TikTok dedicated to “if you love Paloma Wool, you’ll love…” roundups, and Geel kept popping up again and again. Since then, I’ve become a huge fan of the L.A.-based clothing line, which was founded by Irene Geel.

I love clothing that feels like what I like to call “artful minimalism”—and that’s exactly how I’d describe Geel. There’s a quality to the designs that makes them feel special, the kind of pieces I’d wear on repeat. It’s been one of my favorite brand discoveries of the year—I’d wear everything they make. With the majority of it priced under $200, that’s just one more reason I love it so much.
