All the Happenings in the World of Fashion and Sports Right Now
All in one place.
We're living in the golden age of sports and fashion. There have been glimpses of the two entities colliding in the past, but today, they're practically one. WNBA players are becoming a staple at Paris Fashion Week, NFL stars are donning editor-favorite Coach bags and limited-edition Birkins, Formula One World Champions are co-chairing the Met Gala, and brands—from LVMH to Skims—are getting in on all the action.
I'm here to keep the most interesting happenings in the world of sports and style straight, supplying you with the news you want to know. Think Lewis Hamilton's outfit credits in the F1 paddock and upcoming team and player brand collaborations that'll sell out if you don't act fast. Without further ado, let's get started.
Louis Vuitton's Custom Trunk For the LVGP Is Elite
Ahead of the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix, which kicks off on November 20, Louis Vuitton released a bespoke trophy trunk painted to match the special on-track signage that will appear on the Strip during the race weekend. According to a release, the Louis Vuitton logo will be displayed in dynamic graphics all around the track, seamlessly blending the French fashion house with the sport it signed a 10-year partnership with back in January 2025. To further emphasize the collaboration, in addition to Louis Vuitton's monogram, the custom trunk also features the black-and-white Damier, which is meant to mimic the look of the finish line one lucky driver will cross first on Saturday night.
Mercedes, Adidas, and Bad Bunny Just Teamed Up
Coming very soon (and by that, I mean next month) is one of the most exciting collaborations in F1 since Lewis Hamilton teamed up with Dior. This time, it's between Adidas Originals, Bad Bunny, and Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team, and the resulting collection is well worth the hype it's receiving online. The collection is based around the Adiracer GT Silhouette, but also includes a full motorsport apparel collection, ranging from bright orange racing gloves to vintage-inspired outerwear. The sneakers officially debuted at "The Archive” exhibit at the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico, which was put on by Adidas Originals and took place during Bad Bunny’s sold-out residency No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí. They were designed to look like a modern take on retro racing shoes, with a sleek, low-profile design.
Get yours in early November when the collection launches.
New Nike x Jacquemus Is Coming... You Know What to Do
For the first time, Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman’s Moon Shoe is being reinterpreted by Nike and French designer Simon Porte Jacquemus for modern day, blending the lightweight sneaker's racing origins with ballet-inspired touches (a new sneakerina, perhaps?). With this launch, the Moon Shoe becomes the fourth sneaker that Nike and Jacquemus have come together on, with prior models being the Nike x Jacquemus Air Max 1, J Force 1, and Air Humara. If those drops were any indicator, the Moon Shoe will undoubtedly sell fast, so write September 29 on your calendar in big, bold, red letters. That's when they'll drop on jacquemus.com, before launching across SNKRS and select Nike retail locations on October 6.
Jimmy Butler and ALO Made Sneakers
When Jimmy Butler's not playing basketball, he's wearing these ALO sneakers—period. “I’m close with the ALO team and I’ve been wearing the Recovery Mode for a while now," he said in a press release that announced the release of his limited-edition pair of Recovery Mode sneakers. (ALO's been manufacturing the style—the brand's first foray into footwear—since 2023.) "This is my go-to for after a game, when I’m making coffee, playing dominoes, relaxing, just being around my people and my family—all the stuff that I do off court that makes it so that I can go out there and perform on court," the Golden State Warriors forward continued. Butler's unique pair will arrive on ALO.com, as well as at three ALO Sanctuaries—Beverly Hills, Valley Fair, and Miami Design District—on October 1.
Caitlin Clark's Nike Logo Is Revealed
According to Nike, Caitlin Clark's first signature shoe and apparel collection will debut in 2026, an announcement that arrived at the same time that the sneaker giant revealed the Indiana Fever point guard and NCAA all-time leading scorer's official logo: "a combination of interlocking C’s as extraordinary as the athlete they represent," a Nike press release states. According to the release, Clark and Nike designers "obsessed over every detail," creating a logo that speaks to her "precision, power, and unique ability to inspire the next generation of hoopers." Clark called the logo a dream come true and yet another way that she's leaving her mark on the game. The already-viral symbol will first be seen in the flesh on a navy-and-yellow (the colors of the Indiana Fever) T-shirt that comes out on September 1. The rest of her logo apparel collection will launch on October 1 at nike.com.
