Is it just me, or are spring trends subdued this year? There are no prints, colors, or silhouettes that seem especially daunting or outlandish, which is great news for casual dressers like me. This year's spring collections feature wearable colorways such as butter yellow, baby blue, and rich chocolate brown. And I'm seeing lots of preppy pieces, including polo shirts and Bermuda shorts, that look great with fisherman sandals. I never thought I would spend a spring season trying to dress like my grandpa, but if all the fashion people are doing it, I'm right there with them. As if my social media feeds weren't proof enough of these top spring trends, SSENSE's new arrivals have confirmed them. All the pieces I've mentioned above and more (including the coolest new Adidas sneakers) can be found below. To see the only spring trends I care about, scroll your heart out.

Each of these categories will give you a peek inside my shopping list this spring. Up first, we have four tops calling my name: a versatile plaid button-down, a sheer basic, a preppy polo, and a lightweight chore jacket for layering. These can be mixed and matched with the bottoms you'll discover below.

The Bottom Half

It's become clear that hem preferences are changing this spring. Longer shorts and slimmer jeans are the name of the game, and SSENSE has the styles I'm looking for.

Outfit Embellishments

The two accessories I like to refresh each season are sunglasses and shoulder bags. Eyewear trends are leaning toward '90s-inspired wire frames and oversize lenses. In the handbag department, I'm drooling over The Row's Bindle Bag and Staud's latest east-west style.

Something for Your Feet

Sporty sneakers, fisherman sandals, and suede ballet flats are on my list. These styles have been popular for a minute and show no indication of disappearing. I'll wear all four styles well into the summer (and maybe even the fall).
