I Saw People Wearing This Scarf Trend on the Upper East Side, so I Bought In
I had to see what the hype was about.
I was on my weekend walk to the Upper East Side when I spotted someone wearing a triangle scarf, and it immediately caught my eye. A girl about my age had styled it in light blue on top of a white coat, and that was the moment I knew there really is something about this winter micro-trend that feels special. We’ve had years and years of chunky scarves trending, but the moment has finally come to allow something lightweight to step in. I knew I needed to try this out for myself.
As I worked on this article, I saw Zoë Kravitz step out in this trend not once but twice, styling it as a balaclava over cozy clothing. For a dreary office day, in the pouring rain—I tried this styling trick out for myself and was thoroughly impressed.
My Review
My personal favorite detail about this scarf is simply how easily it makes styling. You can put one right on top of your favorite coat to make it feel different or layer it underneath a sweater or even wear it as a headpiece. The opportunities are endless.
