This One Brand Is So Good for Spring Outfit Ideas

Sponsor Content Created With Free People

If you’re anything like us, all you want to be wearing right now is loungewear co-ords, throw-on spring dresses, tie-dye and chic basics. Of course, the usual high-street stalwarts are starting to tap into these needs, but no one, and we mean no one, is doing it quite so well as Free People right now.

Although the U.S.-based brand is one of those more under-the-radar names to know, it’s always been one of our go-tos for summer. There are endless options of universally acknowledged perfect holiday pieces—floaty smock dresses, pretty blouses, linens and lace-up sandals—that are all crying out for an Ibizan beach day. This year, however, as we head into spring a little closer to (okay, at) home, it’s become increasingly clear that Free People isn’t just a one-trick pony. Its fuss-free, comfort-first, laid-back styles couldn’t be better suited for a summer spent at home. No need to save those favourite mood-boosting dresses for holidays. Any garden, balcony or open window will do.

The affordable brand might be best known for its dresses, and there are plenty of current styles that have made it to our wish list, but we can’t help lusting after its luxe basics at the moment too. There are super-soft T-shirts, relaxed jumpsuits, pretty lingerie and activewear you’ll want to wear all day. Co-ords are another of the brand’s most in-demand categories, and we can see why. Its spring iterations of last season’s must-have knitted pairings are surely what we’d all like to be lounging around the house in right now.

Turns out it’s not just us who have fallen for Free People recently. We can’t help but notice how much some of our favourite influencers have been enjoying styling their FP pieces into their WFH wardrobes. From Lyndsey Holland’s towelling Fresno Set to Danielle Bernstein in the Evie Set, we plan on copying as many of these outfits during this long Easter weekend as we can.
