I adore shopping for gifts for other people, but truth be told, my holiday wish list has become more and more of an afterthought as I've gotten older. When I was younger, I'd start making my wish list in September. (Yes, September.) This is hardly the case now. I feel as though there are many things that I want at any given time, but I'm still told that I'm difficult to shop for. I've come to accept this, but as a fashion editor, it's hard not to become picky, and I suppose I become more and more particular as I get older and solidify my personal style more. That said, it's always the thought that counts in my book.
My point in saying all of this is that you may have someone like this in your life, and if that's the case, I made a list of gifts that my picky fashion-editor self would love to receive. And many of these items are versatile enough to appeal to a wide range of people—not just 30-somethings who are picky.
