Rihanna pulled it off earlier this year, Kendall is a fan, and Gigi Hadid continues to embrace the trend (which we think is about to be huge for 2017). No, she's not waist-training—she actually came up with a clever way to dress up a closet staple using lingerie.
To celebrate her Stuart Weitzman shoe launch, the model stepped out in a simple white shirtdress layered beneath a formfitting corset. Once confined to the lingerie drawer, the corset is quickly becoming the trendiest piece to pair over just about any outfit. The 21-year-old's look had a menswear-inspired theme going on, with the crisp button-down, slim pants, and chunky boots, but the satin corset showed off her hourglass figure and lent the silhouette an edgy yet feminine touch.
