Here's How Fashion People Are Dressing for The Holidays This Year
Sponsor Content Created With Banana Republic
The silver lining in this holiday season (if we can call it that) is that the pressure of finding the "perfect" outfit has gone out the window. I, for one, am looking forward to swapping my signature white pumps for a pair of cozy boots while I spend the holidays very comfortably (and safely) at home. If you’ve been following me through the last few months, you’ll know that I have been relying on Banana Republic for the better part of this year to fill my wardrobe with classic pieces that just feel right. For the holidays, I couldn’t pass up another BR haul and neither could some of TikTok's fashion girls. Keri Fay, Bria Jones, and Francis Lola, who collectively make me spend actual hours on the app looking at their detailed style hacks, put together their favorite looks for spending the holidays at home with Banana Republic. Trust me when I say you’re going to want to recreate the ‘fits almost immediately. Here are my three favorites.
Something Casual

I’m almost a little too happy that I have precisely zero plans for the holidays this year (outside of some virtual get-togethers), so putting together a casual outfit similar to what Keri Fay did is right up my alley. Fay, who calls New York home, naturally knows a thing or two about making casual look elevated. A turtleneck, a long coat (seriously, don't sleep on Banana Republic menswear section), and a pair of wide-leg jeans are also a fashion editor's uniform, but what is especially trendy about this outfit is that Fay opted for a high-waist wide-leg pair of jeans instead of skinnies. I plan on wearing this during an at-home date night with my husband over a huge plate of pasta.

A slip dress, other than being an amazingly comfortable alternative to sweatpants, is also my go-to choice for the virtual gift exchange my friends and I have planned. Bria Jones, who’s style and beauty hacks on TikTok are extremely useful, found a way to make a slip dress work for a slightly dressed-up ensemble by styling the chocolate-colored piece with a camel-toned jacket and a pair of classic white sneakers. I love that the shearling piece is removable, giving you multiple ways to wear this look. Consider this V. expensive-looking outfit already in my wardrobe. (What can I say? TikTok made me do it.)
Keeping It Cozy

A cable-knit sweater and a small-check plaid coat (that is, bonus points, reversible) create such a holiday feeling, I can basically hear the bells jingling. This classic outfit styled by Los Angeles-based fashion influencer (and TikTok girl) Francis Lola makes me want to sit by the fire and sip hot chocolate like the extreme holiday cliché I fully embrace. Layer a white blouse underneath and you have a dressed up cozy look for a Friday night.

It all began in 2014 when she landed an internship at the company and never looked back. While she does love writing her fair share of fashion stories, her heart really belongs in the brainstorm room, where she has fun strategizing different ways to create content with our fashion partners so that you engage with the brands you know and love. Her style tends to be more classic (she loves a good black-and-white look with gold accessories), and white pumps are kind of her thing. If she had to pick one person's wardrobe to raid, it would be Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's, and she also has a major obsession with interior design. She's a mom to a 1-year-old baby girl named Sophie, and she fully plans on training her to spot fashion trends by the time she's 10. That's all!
