The #1 Way to Wear a Scarf This Season

Silk scarves have long been a fashion girl's go-to accessory to elevate pretty much any outfit. And as much as we love wearing them tied in a ponytail or wrapped around a handbag, in our minds there is only one way to wear a scarf this season.

Think of this versatile accessory as your alternative to a bold necklace or choker. Swap out your typical necklace situation with a folded neck scarf to give your look a stylish update. Opt for a classic bandana or otherwise modern geometric print, depending on your mood. We love how the print pops against a solid outfit.

How-To

  1. Choose a square scarf.
  2. Fold in half diagonally.
  3. Fold in 1- to 1 1/2 inch sections until the scarf is in one long line.
  4. Tie it snug and leave the knot in the back or show the ties in the front (we love it shifted just off-center).
  5. You might also want to leave one corner untucked for more of a bandana look.
  6. Depending on the size of the scarf, you may need to wrap it around twice to achieve the "snug" fit.
