I Just Tried On the Black Skinny Jeans That Keep Selling Out
There's nothing that quite says buy me now like an item of clothing that sells out within 24 hours of release. Case in point: J Brand x Stephanie Shepherd Little Black Jeans, which launched back in June and, within 19 hours, saw all stock snapped up by eager customers. Proving the timeless appeal of black skinny jeans, J Brand's sellout look was widely embraced by the fashion crowd and was photographed on everyone from Aimee Song to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. No wonder the style didn't stick around for long. Due to popular demand, the jeans have finally been restocked, and so to celebrate, I decided to try the look on for myself. The consensus? Despite not being much of a skinny-jean wearer, I actually love this J Brand pair. It sits at a flattering point on the waist (just above the hips), and I really enjoyed the lace-up detail, especially when paired with this '70s-style blouse from Rixo. They just might make me a skinny-jean convert, and that's no small feat. Scroll down to shop the look.
On Joy Montgomery: Rixo Moss White Leopard Top; J Brand The Exclusive #LittleBlackJean ($278).
