Lawrence just stepped out to walk her dog in New York City wearing the latter, and the style she chose couldn't be more classic or cooler. Her sneakers of choice are a favorite of this editor: Vans slip-ons in the skater-centric checkerboard print. The iconic $50 sneakers are as versatile as plain white sneakers but undoubtedly make more of a statement. Lawrence kept things simple and paired the timeless sneakers with a fedora, white T-shirt, and skinny jeans.
